Robert H. Keller MD, MS,
FACP, AAHIVs Background Information
Dr. Keller had a distinguished academic career after achieving
MD with Honors, and being elected to AOA at Temple University,
and training in Internal Medicine, Immunology and Hematology
at the University of Rochester and the Mayo Clinic.
During a fellowship and subsequent Assistant Professorship at
the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, he introduced a new
laboratory technology to identify cells at the Mayo Clinic.
Moving to Milwaukee, he became a faculty member in the
Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics, Biophysics and Health
Science at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Marquette
University) and the University of Wisconsin, where he rose to
level of Professor. He was also awarded two Career
Development Awards (Clinical Investigatorships) and the
Superior Performance Award (for research) by the Veteran’s
Administration where he served as a Staff Physician. He

the Marcus Center for Immunology Research.
During his academic tenure, he was awarded over 2 Million
dollars in research grants from both the NIH and VA; served on
the scientific review panels for the NIH and VA; published
over 100 original articles, invited reviews and book chapters
in Immunology, Hematology and Medicine; was awarded two
patents; was a visiting professor at both US and international
medical institutions and served numerous industrial and
academic consultantships including NASA during the Apollo
Program. After Wisconsin, he served as director of
Immunology for Coulter Electronics, a Florida based company.
Dr. Keller has been named as one of the 2000 Outstanding
Scientists of the 21st Century, elected to the Board of
Governors of the American Academy of HIV Medicine of the State
of Florida and serves on the National Practice Committee.
He has also been named as one of the Top Physicians in 2003,
2004, and 2005 by the Consumers’ Research Council of America
in the fields of Internal Medicine, Immunology and Hematology
and is featured in the: “Guide to America’s Top Physicians”.
His main interest is improving the quality of life in patients
afflicted with HIV and decreasing the side effects associated
with HAART.
In 1994, he founded The BIODORON Institute of Advanced
Medicine (now The KBK Institute), a state of the art medical
clinic for the cutting edge treatment of patients afflicted
with chronic illnesses including HIV, Hemophilia, and
Hepatitis.
In 1995 he founded Immune Balance Technologies (IBT), a
private biotech LLC to develop novel therapeutic and
diagnostic products for patients whose immune systems were
damaged by disease, stress and/or nutritional deficiencies.
IBT has already completed proof of concept studies for one
unique low cost drug for the treatment of HIV and as a result
Dr. Keller founded Phoenix Biosciences, Inc whose lead
compound – PBS 119. IBT has also developed a novel
diagnostic test to measure glutathione, the body’s major
antioxidant and been granted 3 patents. In addition, he
founded VitImmune, a nutraceutical company which develops
unique nutritional products to address both problems in
patients suffering from a variety of Immune and degenerative
diseases and protect the health and youth of those not yet
afflicted by illness.
Dr. Keller
continues his involvement with patient groups by lecturing
frequently and serving on the Scientific Advisory Board of the
National Hemophilia Federation and was recently awarded the
Physician of the year honor from the PWAC coalition of Broward
County and the Humanitarian award by the National Hemophilia
Federation. He serves as a voluntary Professor at the
Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Dr.
Keller also hosts a national web-based radio show called “The
Path to Wellness and Youth” every Tuesday beginning July 19.
He also lectures frequently to HIV, Hemophilia, CFIDS and
Cancer support groups.
The Development of Dr. Keller's Patented MaxGXL Formula
Despite Dr. Keller's academic
and medial achievements, his greatest ambition is to improve
the quality of life for as many people as he can. This
includes the patients he sees in his practice, many of whom
are battling life-threatening diseases. Dr. Keller
credits his patients and their health challenges with leading
him to develop the formula behind MaxGXL.
"It quickly became obvious, when I left academia and began my
practice, that writing prescriptions wasn't the best way of
helping my patients," Dr. Keller says. "I had to learn
about nutrition. I discovered that virtually all of the people
I treated were deficient in antioxidants, so I began to
research antioxidants in depth." Dr. Keller realized
that of the four antioxidants the body considers essential
enough to make itself,
Glutathione was
the most prevalent and the most important. He set
himself the task of creating a nutritional product that could
increase glutathione levels in the body. After several
years in the laboratory and as many as 20
supplement prototypes, Dr. Keller finally reached a
formula that satisfied him. "I am always the first guinea
pig for anything I produce," he says. "Once I know it's
safe, I try it on my patients." He did, and the results
were impressive. Yet, ever the scientist, Dr. Keller
wanted irrefutable clinical evidence that his product
worked.
MaxGXL
Formula Patented, Proved
and Approved
"I spent a year creating a
proprietary lab test to measure glutathione levels within
lymphocytes," he says. Unlike red blood cells, which
were used to determine glutathione levels when he began his
quest and which live for 90 to 120 days, lymphocytes are white
blood cells that have an average lifespan of les than six
hours in the bloodstream. Using lymphocytes made it
possible to measure what is happening in a patient's body in
real time. Thanks to the results of this test - and the
uniqueness of the MaxGXL formula - the product has not only
received a World Wide Patent as well as a Composition Patent,
but has also been listed as an
Approved Quality product by Consumer Lab. This
leading provider of independent test results has even run
MaxGXL through its Athletic Banned Substance Screening Program
and given it the green light. Dr. Keller is delighted
that Max International has enabled more people to have
access to the benefits of his product. "For nine
years, we were lucky if we reached an audience of 250
people," he says. "Now the message is
getting out and the product is doing wonderful things for
so many more. That's incredibly rewarding."
Dr. Keller himself reaps the rewards of MaxGXL daily, in
terms of his own energy levels and stamina. He swims
and works out regularly, sees patients three days a week,
is writing a book, conducting trials on two drugs he has
developed, and much more. "Thanks to the supplements
I take, including MaxGXL, I can do as much as I could 20
or 30 years ago!".
"This product, in my
opinion, represents the single most important breakthrough
in health that I will witness in my lifetime. I believe it
will revolutionize, change, and transform the practice of
medicine world-wide and make Dr. Robert Keller more famous
than Jonas Salk who created the polio vaccine.”
Dr. John C.
Nelson , 159th President of the American Medical
Association
Papers
From Dr. Robert H. Keller & Others
The following collection of papers are
provided for doctors, or people who are studying or have a
practice in the Health & Wellness field. Unless you
have the above credentials, the Adobe pdf documents below
will most likely be more confusing than enlightening.
They contain several of Dr. Keller's medical contributions
in the area of Medicine; primarily, the function of
Glutathione on the body, or the causes for the lack of it.
There is no fluff here, just information that you may find
useful.
Dr. Keller has created a non toxic,
inexpensive HIV/AIDS treatment that was designed
specifically to address the huge HIV/AIDS crisis that
exists in Africa and other 3rd world locations. These
places in our world are unique in that there exists in
those locations another serious threat to the immune
system that pre-dates the arrival of HIV/AIDS; this
disease is Malaria. More than half of those who suffer
from HIV/AIDS in Africa are also co-infected with
Malaria. Either disease can kill you, so you must treat
both if you are to save a life. When Dr. Keller created
his HIV/AIDS drug he understood this dilemma, and
purposely built into his drug a highly effective treatment
for Malaria as well, so we are able to treat both of these
killer diseases simultaneously.
A percentage of every box of
MaxGXL sold directly supports this tremendously important
project.
